Digital Marketing Specialist


This role reports to the Manager, Digital Marketing and supports the U.S. Region in the execution of Digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand generation for the Benefits Administration and Health and Productivity lines of business, in addition to Enterprise initiatives and priorities as required.


  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including: HTML coding, list queries and subscriber management, testing, reporting and analysis
  • Work with LOB stakeholders to define lead scoring blueprint, nurturing automation, working closely with CRM team
  • Create and manage forms and email lists
  • Create and maintain user test cases, and process and system documentation
  • Adherence to digital brand standards and online accessibility compliance
  • Responsible for monthly email analytics
  • Liaise with digital agency and internal stakeholders to support campaign execution, management and reporting
  • Website Content Updates
  • Responsible for website page edits and updates
  • Creation of campaign landing pages, forms and subscription centre
  • Management of surveys and interactive tools

Succeeding as a Digital Marketing Specialist will require the following core qualifications and skills:

  • Post-secondary education preferred in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Digital Media
  • 5 or more years of relevant B2B and B2C digital marketing experience
  • Knowledge of CMS like Drupal, Joomla, WordPress or similar
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation Platforms (Pardot, Acoustic, Eloqua) and CRM platforms (Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of reading and understanding analytics (i.e. Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.); Google certification preferred
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Proven attention to detail and quality assurance
